 My first entry with my newly purchased 5D MKII. What and amazing piece of electronics (at least compared with my old 30D). Doing high ISO long exposures with controllable amount of noise is alot of fun, specially because now in Iceland you cant really shoot anything unless its kind of dark.

You guys have probably seen this location a few times. It is only 30 minutes from Reykjavík and has appeared on a few front pages here on DPC.

I always look forward to great pictures like this! And they are often from Iceland. 8 minutes!? That is amazing, you must have tremendous patience.

Exceptional landscape, great colors and composition. 8 minutes, so it must be almost dark? Is this HDR? Note to self to experiement that long exposure during next landscape shoot.
