Hello! You have requested a comment from the critique club:

First Impression/Opinion: My first thought when looking at this image was this is a lovely abstract image. the blur is nice, but i can still tell that these are trees and the sun is shining through. This shot gives a very calm feeling.

Composition: i like the feeling of movement here, nice motion blur.i can understand why one commenter said that there is no focal point. I agree that there isn't really a strong subject standing out in this shot, but i don't think it is necessary in my opinion.

Post Processing: i like the black and white, i can't imagine it looking better in color (it would be too distracting). the contrast is good, obviously for this particular challenge you are going to have blown out highlights thanks to the sun! :) i think it is appropriate under the circumstances.

Challenge Criteria: fits the challenge.

My Vote: I gave this image a 7 during voting :]

Placement: 4.8 is low in my opinion, but somewhat expected for a shot like this, although this is a very artistic image, it is not a typical ribbon winner shot. The lack of strong subject is what hurt you here i believe. also not everyone is a fan of motion blur!

Interesting use of light and dark. Motion blur or Vaseline?

I really like the "Blair Witch Project" effect.

High speed drive-by shooting adds interest and fluidity. Good exposure control and S/S. Meets challenge. Just nothing going on for me to enjoy fully.

I don't personally care for it but you certainly have met the challenge quite well.....so much above the other entries I gotta score a 10....Actually, I think I do like it. Good Luck.

An interesting shot, but not for me. There doesnt appear to be any particular main focal point although the use of the sun to create the contrasting trees is good.
