Thanks to Insomniac for the title idea, I could just find things with the word Hate on it :P


Very simple, laid down on the ground, and then asked someone to stomp my head to the ground :)

Editing:
Topaz adjust (some desaturation, increased local contrast and more contrast areas, more definition).

YEAH!! This was way beyond imaginable, never thought of getting a blue, with the amount of good photographers here!

Thank you so much for all your comments, it was so nice to see the voting phase on this one. And yes, I'm still scraping some mud of my hair.
As for one comment, the dirt inside my mouth was not dirt, it was ketchup (didn't do much good anyway).

I had been planning to photograph this exact scene for a while now... not for a challenge, but to reflect one of my favourite quotes from Orwell's 1984:

"If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face - for ever"

This is striking, gritty and seriously compelling. You can actually feel his pain just by looking at the photo. It seems a little over sharpened, but that may actually add to the overall look of the image. Great model and a wonderful capture.

Stupid, over processed image ... but still I'm drawn to it. The original image is good. The processing is good, if not to my liking. I'm not sure why I like it, but bless me, I do. Good work!
