I like the idea, but something isn't working for me, not sure what. Perhaps it's the hard light or more likely the color. I wonder how it would like in B&W.

I love the harsh shadows here. They complement your subject's fiberglass flesh quite nicely.

OK, I'm going through the Free Study submissions, purposefully finding those images I think are shot with a less conventional eye - this is one of those images! Thanks for offering something that isn't just DPC friendly eye-candy (though of course there's nothing wrong with eye-candy). I'll be picking one of these images for the Mu (most underrated) award:

Positives: Beautiful lighting here and the colours too are tremendous. This has an understated quality which I really like.

Critical stuff: It may be a little quirky for some viewers who may balk at its faux-portrait-ness.

Overall: I really like it.

For me, this piece leaves me wanting more. The absolute cut-off of the mannequin distracts me as well as the barely visible hair. There is no personality or dramatic appeal for me.
