Originally set up as as 6 shot hdr but the movement in the clouds were too much and would give some people motion sickness, thats no joke either.

So i stuck with the original 3 shots.

Whats interesting about this picture and the title is its relevency. This is take on the edge of Folly Beach SC. A mile away from this very spot is where the first shot of the civil war was fired, starting the war. I thought it was interesting to go with the title but there was no way for me to tell you all that. It really is a tree standing in the cradle of the civil war.

I like the rivalry, it pushes me to be better. Its my second best score so that makes me real happy. Im working on getting all those scores in the "5" range out of my site when i look at my portfolio.

Actually this does have an association with the civil war. The first shot fired, starting the civil war, was fired less than a mile away from this very spot. This tree is standing in the cradle of the civil war. There was no way for me to get that across however.

Maybe no real association with the Civil War to the viewer but this is just stunning - Got at 8 from me. :)

Great shot for the lyric, love the sky. The light on the grass is a little weird, with bright and dark, but overall very good.

Incredible lighting and/or post processing. So many interesting places to rest one's eyes. There is a lot going on, lighting-wise, in this photo but it all comes together very well as a whole. Hope you post your post processing in comments. I assume HDR with lots of dodge and burn.
