I suppose my 47 Steps entry is what I am currently best known for on DPC so I went back and took another shot of the same location.

I figure this will be an experiment to see if DPC voters have a sense of humour and can have a laugh.

Well, after 100 votes I am surprised, pleasantly surprised. I really thought that after the vitriol by some after 47 Steps challenge this shot would suffer many more low votes.

Bit late to the party, but great shot! Have to agree with a few of the comments below - this is better than the 47 steps entry, and the fs for that matter too. I think you had better light and the editing is superb here.

Congrats on the top 10 finish!

Classic!

Another photograph taken Nuzzers place. Really great seaviews you have there from your front porch.

LOL - now that I am reminded of all that controversy, I like this even more. :-)

Hey this isn't 47 steps from your signature style? ;\

Nice image, the HDR is very well done, a fine example of how HDR can be used minimally and to great results. Print it, frame it and mail it to me. 16x20 please, thank you. :)

An absolutely stunning landscape, processed to perfection... wow!

And while I don't recall any beach shots from this DPCer, I'm going to go out on a limb and guess...

Super natural colors and detail. Might be DrAchoo. If not, it's still a great coastal scene, of course, although I'd move the horizon off the vertical middle. That said, this is a great example of HDR processing.

I recognise this spot, it's NZ. Lovely place for photo's! Nice image, au naturelle, no amazing filters or crafty PS tricks...

Looks similar to Nuzzer's 47 steps shot. One of my favourites in the challenge, and I hope this ribbons.

The guy who "cheated" in 47 steps? =P

Like the picture except for the purple halo on the right rock.

LOLOL... For location, I'd have to guess Nuzzer. Prefer this one to the 47 steps one, actually.

This one is sure similar to Nuzzer's "should be DQ'd" photo from the 47 Steps challenge!
