First I cropped original image to get the portion I wanted. Then 45 deg rotation in lighten, copy, then horizontal flip in lighten. I erased portions of all layers as necessary to keep bats intact. Copied again but instead of rotating I moved the layer up until I had the overlap I liked; darker color mode. More erasing of parts of layers to keep bats totally visible. From there I applied some Color Efex Pro filters, then flaming pear flood (isn't blatant copying the highest form of flattery, jomari?), then more touching up, filters, levels, blah blah blah...

totally awesome colleen ..
even when i havent seen your work or spoken to you for ages i still think of your images and am inspired .. then i come on one i havent seen before and its a real treat .. :)

Oh this is the Pagoda with the reflecting pond in front of it. Only a magical prince or princess can figure out how to get inside. :) LOVE IT
