He looks happy - and the lovely light shows off his pretty face well!

Hard to believe that a petal could support a frog, however briefly. Wonderful colors and composition.

I've seen some other shots of frogs in this challenge, but what really stands out in this, and gets my higher vote, is the lighting that you succeeded in snooting / griding the light just on the right amount. Great job!

Better composed than a similar one that I saw, Clarity is also better , 8

i like how the frog is engulfed by the flower - i just wonder if the vertical orientation suits this image best

lovely...

wow. colours works well with the eye and flower. portrait comp works here for me. Sharp and love the feeling of tension almost generated by the feeling one gets that this frog could fall any minute from those fragile leaves/petals. Static dynamics - if there is such a thing

wow...love what the black does to make this really punchy 8

Great comp, I like the vertical pose, and the simple construction of a little frog and a single flower. 9

Love the colors & details in the frog. I also find the rich red hue of the tulip and the texture on its petals stunning. Lighting is excellent. This little froggie is just hanging out in the soft petals of this flower. One little critique - while the red and green pop visually off the black backdrop the problem with this overhead shot is that it looks like both subjects are just hanging in space. At first look that does not bother me because I am dazzled with the color and sight of the frog, but on a longer look something just looks odd about the arrangement. Mayhap it would be more 'grounded' away from a weightless gravity if the angle changed slightly to included the stem in the composition. Still this is a definately on the high end of the charts.

The first thought that came to mind, believe it or not, is "graceful". So light and colorful and really does for some reason impart grace and beauty.

A cliched shot here, but a very well executed version of it :)

I like the contrasts of colours, the red then the green then the red again in the middle.
