This would look great hanging on a wall. I love how the other two seem to be coming out of some mist.

I don't see the lantern but that ship is really amazing! I like how the other ships are in a fog.

If I were alive 300 years ago, I am sure this is what it would look like. Outstanding shot... your perspective was perfect.

Lovely composition of all the tall ships. I guess one needs to be the leader, shining forth. Nice job, but the border seems a little off to me. (not that I have figured out yet how to get them right).

I really enjoy this photo - I love how the other ships are cloaked in fog/mist and this stands apart yet part of it all.

Could be a scene from quite another era... nicely seen, and nicely executed. I really like the touches of color in an otherwise very muted palette.

That is one beautiful looking ship and there are two more sailing at it's sides! Invokes imagery of the last battle scene in Pirates of the Carribean: At Worlds End. The title has me trying to figure out what you want the audience to see. I think I see where you maybe going with this. The full frontal view of the main ship takes the shape of a lantern. Or perhaps it is also a poetic nod that this ship was the light of the seas; as in protector/defender against the darkness that was pirates and other unsavory characters....Technicals on this shot lighting/focus/details are great. Composition is interesting but I still have to wonder how this would look if you presented us with a grand sweeping scale - by that I mean a horizontal seascape that may show us a larger armada.

Lovely sense of majesty and almost fairy-taleness to this - th eone clear vessel, the others coming in from the mist.

I can hear that epic music playing in the background as we see the credits roll on a swashbuckler movie. :)
