 I'm so glad to finally have a use for the table runner I bought at Target a couple of years ago at 90% off.

*grin*

I've often thought that I should make note of how many images I shoot to get one challenge entry. So, here goes: 105 for a silly photograph of some fruit.

But, to be fair, I've never lit or set up a fruit still life before... So the learning curve kicked in.

Although, to be honest, I've taken many more than 105 shots for an image before, too. *sigh*

Fun, huh?

And the fruit was tasty, too. :) I hope you like this. I have great hopes for it.

Next time, we'll count edits. *rolleyes*

nice composition with great colors, Lydia!

eta: the glass bottles in the back look flat and distorted. I don't know how you achieved this look , but I like it a lot, they actually seem like something out of post-imressionism era than "old masters"

The naked mandarin adds much to this. Brilliant touch. I believe a bit more negative space would be a positive thing.

Peeled oranges seem atypical for a still life IMO, but I really like the way they balance with the frosted feel of the bg bottles. I'm sensing a slight bit of clarify or Topaz here?
