GREETINGS FROM THE CRITIQUE CLUB

Well, jeffreype123, if your intention was to make the voters smile, you succeeded beyond belief. If, in addition, your intention was to score well, well you have time for that later.

For the record, this is an excellent macro shot. Did I know toes have (er)toeprints, like fingerprints? Well, I do now. Nice placement in the frame (I can't believe I'm saying this) and good colors. The green thingee in the upper right bothered me a little at first, but then I thought, "Why not!"

Would I hang it on my wall? Um, I will think about it. Is it amusing and fun and all that. Oh, yes.

So, thanks for submitting it to the "Best of 2009" Challenge, keep your sense of humor, and I DO look forward to seeing more of your work.

Alice

I couldn't help but laugh when I saw this. Good detail and very unique idea.

You took a good shot of a poor subject. I suppose it would be a fine subject for a podiatry magazine or something, but for the challenge entered it just doesn't "stand" against the competition. It's really not competitive in this venue.

I hope your pinky toe is alright :)
Not a big fan of feet myself. Might not do so well in a challenge with so many entries, but here's hoping you find some DPCer's with foot fetishes :)

Sorry - a picture of toes does nothing for me.

Im not sure what to make of this...Have to evaluate simply the pic LOL. Feet...toes of a man never a flattering subjects..and so the title implies as well. Exposure ok..lighting a bit harsh - dont like shadow on right...Ok ok....6

LOL....well, good detail on the toes but they're just toes, sorry. Not what I would consider an amazing photo.

Well this is different and not really my taste. I think the shadows are a bit harsh and the green in the background is a bit distracting.
