 Taken in Empire Colorado. The Hard Rock Cafe was opened in 1934. Catering to hard rock miners. The new Hard Rock Cafe chain sued them several years ago, but lost in court. The judge said the original was older than the chain and had been The hard Rock Cafe since 1934. Empire Colorado is at 8,600' elevation.
