There just isn't enough of this shot in focus to even tell what it is.

One of the great rules of composition is to get coser. I think you got too close here. What is lacking is some context to define the form I am looking at. I get that it is human from the skin and hair and I am looking at some kind of dinosaur tattoo... but it is lacking in form.
