My personal opinion...Other than the noise in the sky I really really like this. Even with the haloing. It's got a very big Christmas Card feel.

Topaz is fun to play with. I have found that using Topaz adjust on a duplicate layer and then blending in to get the look without the noise issues and 'overdone' feel works really well.

For your shot, the composition is excellent, the feel really good, but I think the technique is applied just too heavy here.

If I was doing a CRITIQUE CLUB COMMENT, it would go something like this.

Your composition is excellent. Your colors work well.

There is considerable haloing and waaaaay to much grain.

Topaz needs to be used with restraint, and the sliders make for nice adjustments. Usually it is best to use this less than full strength.

The predominantly blue/green/magenta colors here work well for an over-the-top presentation, which this is. Make it smooth(ish), and if you have a source to market this very nice image, it will likely present well.

You should use Topaz Clean (another plug-in from Topaz labs) after Topaz adjust to reduce the noise in the sky, nice composition btw
