Actually, the towel is just about the only thing I haven't borrowed!

A portrait of Nic photographed in the style of Hendrik Kerstens.

Tried to emulate Kerstens' lighting from 'Bag' while maintaining the 'Dutch Masters' look.

Skin edited quite smooth to give a slightly 'created', painted look - the artistic license shifted from brush to air brush.

There is a ceiling high soft box pointing down from her right / front and a half powered umbrella immediately right of the camera (touching).

Great photo. I think you missed an opportunity to add one pearl ear ring and have you photo look like it came off Vermeer's brush.

Lovely shot.

So if Kersten has given over her towel . . oh never mind

:- )

Tastes and styles obviously vary - but to me the skin appears to be overprocessed here. This might just have worked better in B&W ?

Mostly beautiful. Love the detail in the towel and softer focus on model. Not particularly fond of the way the shadows on her neck have been airbrushed. They look like sooty marks to me. Same for overprocessing? on LHS of her face.
I like the composition though.

I love the porcelain look. Lovely lighting, especially on the back shoulder.

I think it the photograph is great but, just a bit too much editing on her skin. She looks plastic and fake.

Overall I like this, but the skin seems unnaturally smooth to me.

I think you over processed this..especially the eyes. One eye is looks completely blood shot. The blue of the eyes look entirely too fake. Her right eye looks as if you colored the pupil blue as well. The lighting and her skin look great (although it too looks a little too smooth. Almost doll like.) and if not over processes this would have been a great shot.

This looks like the painting "Girl with a pearl earring" but without the earring.
Nice shot.

Your lighting is lovely. I just wish the skin wasn't so processed.
