 Shot in ISO 1600

Darkened the contrast in Silkypix. Used Topaz Denoise and Topaz Detail to enhance detail and contrast. Used masking, HSL, and Color Balance to bring out the color in the leaves. Cloned out a white piece of something that seemed out of place.

This is part of my 365 days at ISO 1600 project at Flickr.

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: This is a pretty image, particularly the coloration of the leaf and your subtle application of a vignette. The slightly tone mapped look works too.

Critical stuff: The bubbles, though a major contributing element of the image aren't as pretty as the leaf and there is something about the bubbles that looks a little unclean (by association, not actually).

Overall: A nicely composed image - well made.
