Thanks everybody for all the comments!!!

Sorry I haven't posted any details before, doing that now :)
This was a very last minute shot, I was planning to do something more elaborate, with the same structure but with a whole family, but the weather did not collaborate, it was raining throughout.

So I did did with my sister and Bárbara (thank you both) indoors.

The setup is fairly simple.

First, position both people exactly where you want them, frame and everything, then the front person moves away but keeps the frame in place.
Take a picture of the frame, and print it. Frame it, and then recompose. With a little tweak and perspective, you get the composition just right.

Thanks Don for the ribbon, it was very rewarding to get this for thinking OOB.

Many thanks for all the great comments, I had a very fun week.

Cheers!!

I have to admit my interest in DPC and the entries has really waned over the past year, call me jaded or a jerk if you like. That said, this really made me say "wow nice" out loud. My compliments to you sir!

Fantastic toning. Great idea too.
Remove the those red wall stickers and sell it as stock because it has potential.

A nice yellow to go with your collection! And a posthumous blue! Man, if you keep fulfilling your goals for 2010, you'll have nothing left to do for 2011! :-)

Parabéns meu, um grande abraço.

Great idea and execution. I wonder if you could have got away with cloning out the distractions on the left-hand side, but I respect your decision to leave them in the photo out of a healthy fear of disqualification. :-)

Very creative use of a frame and clearly took some effort to get this all lined up right. If I were to be nitpicky I might say it does not exactly fit the challenge description. But, I won't say that.

Sorry!! I had to vote a 1 here though. My reason was that your photograph didn't show any distinct foreground or background framing of your main subject. Essentially your subject is in the same plane as your frame.

Per this comment, and this comment, plus a private message, I have decided to give you a new score, It is now a 6 for the other qualities of this image (despite what I feel is still a DNMC image). Now go thank Bear_Music for he does make good sense sometimes, or at least inspires me to be a bit more open minded (or at least punish people slightly less for what I see as either shoehorning or a failure to take a reasonably literal interpretation of the rules..)
