this is the same place (Urban Lights) as in this photo

which I took two years ago. When this challenge was announced, I remembered that photo, and I also realized that I was going to be in LA on the weekend, so...

The little girl from my old photo has grown up a bit, hasn't she? :)

...No, in fact that old photo was a lucky candid shot, this time I asked my wife to step in and model for me. Unfortunately, we only got to LACMA late in the afternoon, sun was setting down quickly, and the shadows were disappearing right before my eyes, so I did not have time to wait for another lucky candid and had to set up the shot myself, and quickly.

Turned out ok, I think, given the circumstances :)

Thank you for comments and votes! Did not expect a high score before submission, so it was a pleasant surprize!

That is a very nice picture. I like to way the photographer use the shadows and the structure to make the photo unbalanced yet beautifully shot

Lovely!
The lights and darks play so nicely with each other. The tilt works well and to your advantage also (and I'm liking the border) :)
