A little info about the shot.

This was literally a drive by as i was leaving my mom's house as i was pulling out of her driveway.

I'm usually not a fan of selective desaturation myself. BUT, in this case, when i took this photo home and viewed it large, i noticed smelly kitty had different eye colors. Also the background colors were very distracting so I had to go B&W but at the same time i didn't want to lose the different eye colors. So there you have it :P

The coloured eyes look great! At first I thought the tail was a 5th leg and then I realized I'm just dumb haha

This is one well-worn alley cat. Normally I'm not a fan of selective desat but in my opinion this is one of those times where it works very well! This guy has an attitude and it shows. Good shallow DOF but enough background to give context and interest. Well captured!

Oh, this is gorgeous! It really does capture the essence of cat! The cool reduced sat colour palette works well, but it is the composition that makes this for me, the way the cat is balancing on the side of the barrel - and it does rather look as though it has taken a tumble in at some point...

I'm amazed how well he's balanced. Great shot. I like the contrasts and your use of negative space. Not so sure about the selective saturation of his eyes. :)
