I see from the first comment that someone didn't take time to read the challenge description, especially the metaphorical part. But, English is not the first language of many, so I understand.

Richard, I don't know how much more you can insult somebody without actually calling them a foreigner to their face, just because they did not make a positive comment on your photo. I feel some predjudice from you in your comment towards Yandrosxx in the photographers comments section, and it makes me very uncomfortable. Please refrain from this type of stereotyping in the future for everyone's sake. Very unprofessional and ignorant. I would hope Yandro reports this to SC to prevent further comments like this.

This is a pretty good photo, nice and sharp, with good colors and contrast. You may have a problem with the literal voters, but for voters like me, its a great shot

Seems more about the bird than the branch to me. While well executed just didn't seem to fit the theme to me.
