 This is one of a trio of sculptures called "The Traveling Man", just outside downtown Dallas.

I had really wanted to enter "Bizzarchitecture", but couldn't find any truly strange buildings. The shots I did of the moderately unusual ones I found were decent, but nothing outstanding. This, on the other hand, I love, and so I am going with the one I like the best. "Night shot" is going to be a tough challenge with a lot of eye candy. Hopefully this is something unique that will stand out.

Anticipated critiques:
-Shadow across the robot's face
-Someone might be nitpicky enough to say that this is not night, but dusk.

Post-challenge notes:
Made the top 20 by the skin of my teeth. I'm happy.

I like the composition of the art work in line with the buildings to the right. That helps make it a more full picture.

whaaaahh!
great composition, perspective & foreground lighting, but a few minutes later probably would have gotten the sky dark enough to really hit the "night" sky

I've driven past this sculpture at least ten times in the last week. You've done a marvelous job capturing the whimsical nature of the sculpture and yet composing your shot to also 1) fit the challenge and, 2)draw in the buildings downtown to make the shot really work. Fantastic job.
