Geometry, light and grace. Almost voluptuously tactile.

Love the simplicity and soft range of tones...very sensual feel. Great use of grain. Good stuff!

I'm glad you show your work here because I couldn't do it, and I enjoy it. It's something I learned how to appreciate here.

I like the light play - don't care for the grain.

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: I really like the ground glass look of this image; I really like the light too. It reminds me a little of some of AJHopp's work - so you must be hitting some of my buttons. I really like the angle of the edge of the surface with respect to the viewer.

Critical stuff: Nothing at all.

Overall: Very nice, well executed and very well balanced composition.

I wasn't sure when this first came up. I think maybe it seemed a tad washed out. Yet the more I look at it, more contrast would be the wrong thing. However, I really like the grain in this shot -- it adds quite a bit to the photo. It was a 6 in initial reaction and quickly grew to an 8 as I continued to ponder it. Here's to hoping that everyone takes the time to ponder it!

Pleasing light and toning. like it very much, even with the artificial grain. Too bad one can't vote when he knows whom the image belongs to.

I like your use of lighting and the grainy finish works well (so many times I've seen it used for the wrong type of shot).

An interesting beckoning within the simplicity of this.
