Holy Crap. No 1's 2's or 3's That is incredible all by itself. They match your hair.. lol Lucky You!! Getting a wedding party in orange dresses. Did you have a hard time explaining to them why you started to drool when you seen them? Nice Work Judi.

I like the humor, it really makes you wonder what is really above/under the orange? The lady on the right seems a lot "thicker" than the rest and maybe she isn't a lady at all; the third orange lady from the right holds that leg in the awkward position just to to keep the visual rhythm with the other legs, and why is the second orange taking the ring from the bride's finger? Or maybe she does not...this is not clear
The thing I don't like that much is the framing: maybe more lateral space especially on the left side would have made the picture more interesting by giving a sense of the (probably) empty location and thus augmenting the ironic vibe. |

| I love this unique presentation - no flowers or fruits - but an interesting slice of life told not by any facial expression but by the laid back stances of body position and of the hands. These ladies are taking a moment to relax from the frenzy of a wedding day to chat and oh and ah over the ring. The orange bridesmaids dresses really pop and is a bold vibrant color here. Love the mood, feel, and composition in this one - one of my few 9's. Oh and btw I can't help but look at the photo and wonder - "was this taken at the Wayfarer's Chapel that overlooks the ocean in Palos Verdes?" I can see the ocean and the pine trees but I don't remember a bench with metal supports being near the stone pathway (then again it has been several years since I was last there) |

Love this! Vibrant orange, and I love the symmetry in their legs.
I absolutely see why you chose to crop out their faces, and I think that was a good choice on your part. However, it is kind of odd that the viewing of the ring is so high up in the frame, it really makes my eyes want to look higher. Maybe you could have cropped at the shoulder instead, or changed the camera angle?
I don't know, its tough, I see why and I like the cropping you chose, but at the same time it bugs me.
Regardless, I still love the shot! 9 |
