An eggshell and a plant used to depict a way to use organic waste as an indoor or outdoor plant propagating option.
Nikon D300
F/14; 1/1000/sec;145mm; ISO 400
Post processing:
lens dirt spot removal, curves, sharpening, color adjusted in Photoshop CS3
Set up:
whiteboard backdrop and base with clear glass used as a reflective surface. One fixed directional light aimed from the right side directly at the eggshell.

This is a fun still life. I like the spoon for scale. Clever idea using the egg half-shell as a pot. A few minor spots on the glass and egg could be cleaned up (nothing too major). Backdrop seam is a quite evident...not sure whether that matters much or not. I noticed it, so I bring it up. Overall, nicely done. Good luck in the challenge.

Fabulously imagined, composed, and shot! Then, the processing is top notch.

I like the idea. A bit busy. Not crazy about being able to see the texture on the wall. Maybe pan back and show more of the reflection in the mirror.
