This goes into my fantasy art show.

I wouldn't have expected this to work so well in black and white. Really good.

Oh, I'm not sure I wanted to know what they look like this close up! Kind of looks like she is peeking out from under. :-)

Not bad in terms of the shot. I wonder what it looks like in colour. The B&W conversion is very grey.

Not looking terribly ladylike.

Dark, gritty and grainy, and very well done. I think it's great. Is the poor thing floating? My only gripe is that black spot on the right hand side - I'd have been sorely tempted to have cloned it out.

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: Kind of a brave rendition of a Ladybug - lose the colour, make it look a little ugly, show another side.

Critical stuff: I'm not a fan of your conversion - I can see some residual blue lines; I'm not sure why are there but I am sure that (IMHO) they don't work.

Overall: I like your vision but I think the execution leaves a lot to be desired.

Nicely captured. I would like to see the colour version as I'm not sure about the B&W choice. Good luck.
