Great shot. I especially love your title! :)

I liked this one (7). Great image with nice light, although (in my opinion) it screams for a T/S lens so that all three are in focus.

Well, so goes anonymous voting and commenting. What do I know?

Honestly, I think I missed the subtext that you were going for with your title. I'm still working with a small monitor, so a lot of times titles get past me. I see this in a whole new context now. Congrats on the top ten!

WONDERFUL!

Only YOU would give a qualifier about why it's in color! LOL!

First off, I like to see faces. Secondly, why is the foreground child out of focus while the other two are in relatively sharp focus?

Great DOF and crisp colors

Very nicely done. The composition really works here and I like the way you isolated the children with DOF. The young one is out of focus, but that is still ok because one would expect the past to be "blurry".

Great composition. I love how the hair gets longer as the line progresses as well as the height increasing. The fact that they are all in blue works really well. A wonderful natural shot that tells a story. :)

Absolutely -adore- this image, its precious that all the little ones are in blue and have curly hair/same color hair - I love the yellow bucket thrown into the mix it works as a centerpoint for the eye- and keeps drawing me back into the center of the photo even as my eye starts to wander towards the other two subjects... lovely composure- nicely cropped/ this i predict will do very well! :-)

I like the various stages of focus here, nicely done. I can't help but wonder what this would look like with a nice B&W conversion.

Could also have been in the All Things Being Equal challenge. Great spacing, but the blur of the closest child does bug me a bit.
