 I worked hard for this shot. I had to buy balloons, I had to bribe my daughter to get up at 5:00AM and come shoot with me. I had to walk out to this scene from the highway across a muddy farmers field on a chilly morning. And I almost got trapped into a brawl with a couple of drunken rednecks at the local coffee shop.
These guys were in the booth beside my daughters and I and they were continually dropping atomic F bombs. I asked them to stop or at least move to another table. They got pretty upset, but thankfully they noticed that I have been doing P90X for the last year and a half and they moved on LOL

Thanks so much for the ribbon I really like this image and the series of photos from this shoot. It was a crazy morning and I am happy to say we all got away unscathed.

Thanks to my daughter for helping me out with the shot.
I drive by this tree and fence every day I am so happy to have finally photographed it.

I love when a photograph has the power to make me experience something physically, like dizzy, or in this case unbalanced. Looking at this, I feel like I might be about to tip over.

Is there anything particularly significant about the number of red balloons? You just need 90 more and you'll have a hit song from the 80's :)

WOW! THis is totally fresh! I love it! WIthout your daughter and the balloons it would be a very stark and striking image! BUt with them, it takes it to a whole other level. Really rich and dynamic! Inspired and inspiring!

I know this is really WAY off the wall - but I seriously would have preferred to see the red latex balloons instead of the metallicky ones. I like the image overall, I really do, but my eyes keep going right to those balloons. Ah well...not taking away from the score for that.
