My 8 yo. He let me take 6 shots or so of him before he had enough. One thing is fo sho -- shooting my own kids helps me to get the shot the first time!

Cropped, burned the top corners, levels (several times throughout), clarify (Paintshop Pro), saturation, worked on the eyes.

And, voters, be kind. He gets $5 if I score over 6.5 (not likely).

karmat - I scored this a solid 7. It was on my short list at the top of the challenge! I'll cover half of the five bucks!
I thought this was a great addition to the challenge. :)
Bah humbug to the DNMC'ers!

Sorry it didn't do better Karma, I think it's a lovely portrait.

Very powerful image. This is the only downward shot so far that used the angle properly. Bold colors and patterns match the intensity on his face. In spite of not technically "full length", I see this on the front page.

Very effective lighting, the expression relates the sport he is representing, good shot.

Great angle, not the typical shot.

This had a lot of potential but I voted it low because I don't think it meets the full length requirement of the challenge. Great angle, color etc but not full length. The young man did an excellent job of modeling.

I LOVE THIS SHOT! But I don't see it as a full body shot; mostly all you see is the face and the shoulder pads. You have no idea what the full body looks like.

Great facial expression for this photo. also, the perspective is cool, but I don't know that it falls into "full-length."

I can't call this full length.

Very good photo, I like his expression. But is it full length? I'm not sure.

GREAT JOB - LOVE IT!! I think you might get a bit of a penalty because it isn't technically full body but I really like your perspective. Came back to add to favorites!!

Nicely done. I wonder if the literal "full body" not being seen is going to hurt you. I like the angle and the lighting.
