For me, "rural" should show something man-made in the shot. This has two of those elements in it. I like this one the best. |

Deb, of the ones you have posted I think this is probably the most suited for the challenge. That said, I do like the vertical orientation best, but again, knowing how anal the voters are I wonder if you would get dinged because it's not horizontal? I get so fed up with that sort of thinking but it's something to consider. Agh. Could you brighten up the foregound a little? I know you can't dodge the flowers, but somehow I would like to see them a bit brighter. Don't know how to achieve it without advanced editing. How annoying.

I agree that this landscape is probably the best choice for the challenge. But as you know, I cannot predict scores. This is my favorite of the group because of the clouds and the leading line into them but I also enjoy the fence post, the perky little wildflowers and distant horses all sticking up above the groundline. |
