I liked how the yellow looked like energy emanating from the statue.

Yeh it would have been better but the bottom of the statue is damaged so I had to hide that!

Very nicely done. Bokeh, to my eye anyway, works best if it's kept simple and this is a great example. The background not only serves a nice backdrop to your subject but also lends depth and really brings attention to your subject.
