 Taken at a protest rally by the Rainforest Coalition during the annual Chevron board meeting.

All adjustments done in Aperture:
- Crop
- Convert to black and white: adjusted Red (30%), Green (59%), Blue (11%)
- Increased Higlights to 65 to knock down brightness on posters
- Adjusted levels
- Exposer: adjusted black point to -1.25
- Exported

Pass thru unsharp mask in CS5 to sharpen for web display.

Don't expect this to do real well but wanted to enter it anyways.

During Voting:
- For those that commented about the faces. I kept the faces dark to draw more of the attention to the signs. Guess maybe I should have lightened the faces up some.

Really clean nice shot, I like the BW but it is just a little too dark on your subjects for perfection.

I like the scene you captured and what is being conveyed, though I think it could have used a little selective editing to bring out some details from the strong shadows. Especially woman's face, which is where my eye is drawn.
