What a lovely set of comments!

This was a casual catch, through the trees of a driveway I was using as a shortcut. There was also another person and another dog, and other shots of this woman and her dog, but this was the best framed and composed of them all. Usual minimal pp - just playing with sliders until something announced itself.

I gave this a 6, but I don't think I ever really saw it. Stunning.

This is really nice. Your choice of processing seems perfect for this shot.

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: Picking this up on a second commenting pass. Great natural framing and great confidence demonstrated in your edit, allowing the highlights to blow is a master stroke and adds significantly to the interest level of the image. The central subject matter is compelling too. A simple moment shared.

Critical stuff: not much, I wonder whether I'd have darkened the bushes on the left to emphasize the framing of your subject but given I think you have achieved that successfully anyway...

Overall: A very effective image.

I really like the high key element of this shot.

I like the overexposure to highlight and focus on the master and dog. I also like the use of the foreground trees/leaves to frame the subject.

I like the high contrast. The woman and dog are almost ghostly as if floating on air. The leaves make a lovely natural frame.

I actually like this one, but for some reason there is a part of a sign behind the tree on the right that catches my attention and distracts me from the important bit in this picture, i would try cloning it out ;)

Very nice. Like the surrealism.
