 okay, so the counter is still crappy, and we'd not have bothered except the old faucet broke and the old single sink had lost its moorings.

what i want to know is how long before we stop wiping off the water drops?

Oh, it's pretty! You could call your new sink "Sparkle Plenty!"

And there you are in the New Faucet!

Beautiful! About a day on the water drops. This house I moved into had just been refurbished. The sink is a lovely steel sink and I wiped down all the water drops because it was PRISTINE! But not any more.
