This was taken in the Stockyards where this charming guy and I couldn't speak much to each other. But as a natural ham, he was a great subject for my camera. He had just finished cleaning up under the scaffolding at the end of the his workday. He thought my picts of him were pretty funny. I don't speak spanish and he didn't speak much English but when he said Gordo, (sp) and patted his big belly, I figured out what he was saying. Too Funny!

This is what I thought the challenge should be. Why are so many of the street portraits close-ups? Good job.

Love the spontaneity, the grit.

I love the high spirits of this, and the textures and colors are all great. The processing doesn't really suit me though.

lots of personality in this guy - i just wish it weren't so saturated in the reds

I like the emotion you've captured here. Processing looks a touch overdone for my liking. The red plastic netting is also competing with your subject for attention. I really like his expression would have loved to see it up close. Unfortunately you can never ask someone to laugh again for you hehe.
