 Taking a walk round West Mersea, saw this earlier in the day and it had potential. Came back later as the sun set and thought I'd give the HDR a shot. Couldn't find an angle to hide the more modern boat to the right and couldn't clone it out so darkened it a little and ignored it :/

Pretty pleased with it, even if it's not an entirely original idea, and by previous HDR efforts have had mixed results. Would like to see it pick up a 6 but not holding my breath as I expect to see a lot of far better executed HDR landscapes in the challenge :)

Nice shot but I think the image is too tightly cropped from right. The too bright sky on left is distracting.
