 Driving around, I spotted this in a field, and found a nice angle to shoot it (where there were no houses in the background and roads in the foreground). I like how the mound of gravel looks like it's been sitting there for years (hence the title), and the door on the shed is literally falling off the hinges.

I love my editing on this photo (I hope others do too). This was actually taken on a nice day, with sunshine and a few clouds. The processing makes it look like a dark/dreary day, which really enhances the decayed-look to the photo (in my opinion).

Post processing:
In RAW
* cropped
* reduced brightness
* adjusted white point to cloudy
* changed picture style to landscape
* increased contrast
* reduced highlights and shadows
* increased color saturation and sharpness
* adjusted curves

After RAW (exported as TIF) in Pixelmator
* adjusted levels endpoints
* increased brightness in all trees and some bushes to bring out details
* increased brightness of shed to help see broken door
* darkened the pile of gravel so it doesn't stick out so much
* sharpened
* partially sepia toned (75%)
* used Film Stock filter (add vignetting, decrease saturation slightly, increase local contrast slightly)
