So... since it was time 102 degrees and time for a bath anyway, I gave Max a bath and then wet down the deck. I tried spraying the door and "raining" on Max, but those shots didn't work, because he would duck. So this is after the rain stopped and he was just looking in through the wet doorway.

btw, even though Max doesn't really like baths, he didn't mind too much because he really enjoyed the treat afterwards!

So, many are obviously thinking that this doesn't meet the challenge -- but if you read the description, it take a shot where the subject appears to be affected by weather. Max would definitely tell you that he was affected!!

Smooth coat collie? We have one, most don't now the breed. Great photo, perhaps I'll give my Duke a bath and see what happens. LOL

Love this picture. The bright sunshine makes it all look rather comfortable for the dog, but that's OK. He IS weathered, and it's a great pic of a great dog. Bet he wasn't forgotten long.

Definitely affected by the weather. His ears seem to say "why did you leave me out here?"

.. Not a weather challenge. And no, I don't think the dog is particularly "weathered".

Cute though. On creative interpretation you get a 5..

This must be vawendy.. Yes a creative entry - hence the 5... But really, it's a beautiful snapshot, well cropped and nicely processed.

Still doesn't strike me as strongly meeting the challenge. Hence the fact that I gave a 5 on this. I do think it's nice, and under other circumstances I might have voted at least a 6 and perhaps as high as a 7.

Still, do note that there is a huge blown spot on the dog....

FWIW, I love the use of the frame, it's superb, but just not enough to really compel me here..

Sorry Wendy, you know I love your work in general, but this just didn't do it for me.

Cheers,
Cory..
