I just went through the busiest 6 weeks of my life. I shot 3 different photo shoots with local dance studios as well as photo shoots for
highschool prom. All of these shoots require hours and hours of editing just due to the high volume of kids. As a result I have barely lurked around DPC let alone actually submitting a shot. This pic was set up to take advnaage of the metaphor of the road of life. The box (my rectangle ) is a metaphor for the characters burden dealing with regret.

Best of the challenge Coley. Glad to see you back, you have been missed. I have been doing the dance recital thing as well for the last couple of weeks (that wavelength thingy still exists...LOL).

This is such a nice shot. Would not have worked in colour. Some dramatic clouds would have been a bonus.

What makes me think you have another ribbon under your belt with this one? Even if you didn't use yourself as the model, this still has your distinctive style to it.

Best shot I've seen so far, literally head and shoulders above the rest. I love the idea and the image. Everything works great. My blue ribbon pick! 10

Great shot, I like I saw a video recently where the same concept was used, dragging your furniture around as a metaphor for weight of responsibility. I really hope this does well.

+Although the rectangle is small, the curve of the road and the negative space at the top do an excellent job of bringing it into prominence
+Great title/concept
-Not that interesting of a photo overall

Wonderful shot. Love the view and the way the legs are bent to be apt to the title! (Wonder if the box was really that heavy!) Worthy of a ribbon.

This was the first shot that came up for me to vote on which made me think that this was going to be an incredible challenge to view. There are some great photos here but this one is my pick for the challenge. This is just a beautiful photo on so many levels. A 10 and fav from me.
