I like how the human and vegetable textures interact (a tighter crop may enhance that). The window lighting and processing create great tones (do I note a recent tendency by you towards b/w and ribbons?)

now this image with its title says a lot in my book. i always look at her hands and the years of work. how many potatoes do you think shes peeled

This is a beautiful picture but I hate the title. The title has to be as meaningful as the picture and is best use to evoke a mood, create the feeling or at the very least relate directly to the picture. Hide the picture a moment and read the title...what would someone expect to see with the title Housewife? I score on title too. Don't kill your photo with a title that does not match...better yet use Untitled if need to. I really like the photo...good job!

One of my faves of the challenge, but... the upper right stuff (not sure what that is) is very distracting. I'd have cropped to the base of her right thumb if a reshoot wasn't possible. Still a wonderful image! 9

I'd like to have seen this one cropped more so that her top/apron wasn't there...just the hands. I've got my screen scrolled so that it cuts out the body part and just has the hands and it's REALLY effective that way. :) 8
