 Well, not a stellar narrow DOF, but it was more fun to look at, maybe than my other possibles - horses beat still lives.

fisheye's comment makes it all ok.

yes, tall grasses btwn me and them, which are sort of the point of the scene.

A very appealing image! I'm not struck so much by shallow DOF but am guessing the light bands must be grass or something in the foreground?
