Many commenters asked about the bird. The Butcher's Bird aka the Hangman and hangs its prey to dry and shrink to eadible portions which he does especially during winter. I was fortunate to get this because the bird is almost of the same size as the Hangman. He usually feeds on lizards and insects.

Thank you Frank, and yes not your ordinary pretty landscape picture but photojournalism. I refuse to be put in a box just for a high score although I prefer to shoot landscapes I shoot as many subjects as possible. Thank you once again for your comment.

Yet another example of a really good shot getting hammered because the voters are squeamish about the subect matter. Sorry about that! I gave this a 9 and reckon it should have finished at least a full point higher.
