Lovely abstract Ben. I love the lines, tones and textures, and the little birdprints really add a lot to the impact.

Commenting as part of my PAW2010 commitments, and the first cab off the rank is this beauty which almost got a MUAIMHO... I gave this an 8, and only missed getting higher and hence the MUAIMHO because I found the perceived tilt a little off balancing. Everything else... brilliant! I truly LOVE the eye for photography that you have and share with us all.

You got robbed at gunpoint on this, but such is the fate of abstract photography on this site. This certainly found it's fans, however, and I suspect that is what you were after more than the popular vote. Well done.

Both. Or maybe neither. But definitely one or the other. (Or not.)

Excellent.

A very cool looking play of light, shadow and texture. Kind of looks like alien inscriptions on something. Very mysterious in feel. Faving this one.

When this comes up in the rotation, it really shines. So beautifully different and inviting!

The longest I've looked at a shot in this challenge thus far. That's a good thing.

It's all about tones and textures ..... and they have a way of drawing one in. I could look at this forever.

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: A nice textural study - as ever with images like this, the actual scale of the image remains vague. I like that. The arrow B(?) and D(?) shapes are highly intriguing.

Critical stuff: Images like this always have an uphill battle in terms of interest. The is little inherent interest in the scene and as such you have little as a photographer than you can work with / emphasise.

Overall: Taking the above into account I DO think you've lived up to your responsibility here and gotten the best from the scene in front of you. It certainly works for me.
