My first time shooting flowing water into glasses. What a mess!!! I have a new appreciation for people like IreneM who have mastered this. Because I made such a mess I only tried a couple of shots. This was the best but I wish the splash wasn't cut off.

I'm so incredibly sick of shots of wine glasses, I cringe when I see them.

EXCEPT when they're EXCELLENT!

Awesome shot, extremely well done, and most enjoyable! Congrats on the top 10!!!

This is awesome Karen. I loved the splash of liquid - it looks like it's flying out of the glass. Congrats on 6th place!

I'm new here but this has got to be IreneM, I did a view of your photos, some very impressive close up's.
I like the overfilled glass but I'm not sure what I think about the excess light on the spill. Good though none the less.

Amazing!!! The table is made of mirror or it's a white plexiglass?? Very nice shot, the theme is well developed and the shot it's technically impressive!

If I were a betting man, I would guess this is KarenNFLD's shot. Beautiful as always.

Technically very good. Composed well, but seems to be composed too tightly on the top... clipping the top of the splash.

Wow, it is amazing what you can accomplish with Minimal Editing. This truly shows your skill as a photographer. I certainly couldn't produce something like this on camera. The image is perfectly in focus, with vibrant colors, and a title that relates well. It is very well done!
For some reason though, the composition seems awkward to me, though I can't place my finger on why. I think it might be because the empty glass rests on a "thirds" line while the full cup doesn't, which unbalances the composition away from the more interesting subject matter (the full cup). That's just speculation though. It just feels "off" to me.
That is a tiny nitpick of course. The pros of the picture far out weigh. I just thought I'd bring it up, since it is my experience the good photographs usually just get the positive feedback and no voices for improvement :-)
You are receiving an 8 from me.

A very interesting and perplexing shot. The wine in the standing glass almost feels as if it's boiling.
