This will always stans out as one of your most memorable shots. Real fine.

Well shot macro. Unlike most of the other escape images, this one does indeed convey freedom to me.

My one 10 for the challenge.

Technically suberb. Very strong composition.

Others capture the theme better in my view. That could just be me, in that I respond better to people than to snails in the context of such an abstract as freedom.

Perfect - 10 - I really really love this shot, so simple but still saying more than 1000 words.

Expresses freedom or is escape. Or is escape and freedom similar. Very nice capture.

What an excellent little model. It looks like he had a bath before the photo shoot, he's lovely and clean and shiny.

My favourite for the challenge. I think it's one of the only 10's I've ever given. I wish I took it. I've added it to my favourites :)

Excellent picture! The color of the snail is so vivid against all the white!

Cute and well composed, although a little too far to the left. Snali is a touch too bleached out. I used to collect snails as a kid - I had 103 in my bedroom and I left the lid of once and found most of them stuck to my bedroom wall!

Feels like its a bit overexposed to me... I'd like to see more detail on the jar, but it appears washed out.

Absolutely lovely image with a really golden quality to the snail but doesn't really convey the theme very strongly to me. 7 in this challenge, probably 8 or 9 in a free study or different challenge.

Nice high-key presentation. Critter has nice colors that work very well with he white background. It would probably be better if he were heading INTO the image instaead of out.

Awesome! Great concept! I'm so happy not to see any glare on the glass...bravo.

Wonderful color & opacity

Cute. It seems a bit of a stretch since that snail likely isn't going anywhere but back into captivity when this shoot is done but it is a well executed set-up. My guess is you'll do well with it.
07/12/2004 04:05:04 AM
very well composed and lit. Only grouch is the soft looking snail. Neatimage? Still good ;)
