Well, time for another self portrait. I just couldn't talk my sister or girlfriend into it, not sure why they didn't want to be covered in yellow paint :-P

I used my son's digipaint to do this, since I thought it was rather harmless (after all, it is made for children). I guess I wasn't counting on getting some in my eye, it got some washing up to get rid of it.

Unfortunately it was a small bucket, I would have liked it better if the amount of paint was bigger, it would make a great impact.

Oh well, not all of us can get our models covered in oil , right? ;-)

fully agree with bob350, tho i can imagine also a slighter change: you seem to look slightly off camera, like if you are looking into camera, but not really. which was probably not the intention. I guess the impact would be stronger this way too. And more sharpening would probably bring higher votes (even if not a better picture).

what means the tattoo? looks like david, but again... not really. unless i's personal.

Nice idea and excellent selective desat.

Often I don't like selective desaturation, but this has enough humor to counteract that. Would consider shooting from more to the side, maybe with head turned, to move the center away from strictly centered and make it more dynamic.
