 This is metaphorical :-)

The spatula in the foreground (yes, it's a grill spatula)represents the Great Pyramid at Giza, outside Cairo. The "sun" is rising in the correct place (more or less) behind the pyramid and across the Nile river (that's the diagonal down there). The cross-hatching of the background (my screen door) represents the encroachment of civilization on these ancient monuments, just as the cross hatching (screen door shadow) on the "pyramid" represents the erosion of time & civilization.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it :-)
