Phew! I was expecting it to be in the top 20, but it did much better to end up in the first page. My best finish so far.

Grateful for all the wonderful comments and honored on this pic being chosen as favorite by a couple of you.

I'm usually a high-contrast person, and this exercise is probably the first time I did a true high-key. I spent about 20 minutes on this shot alone - mostly waiting for the wind to die and the flower to stop swinging wildly. Experimented with a few different DOFs and chose this one finally - glad it paid off :) Cropped to make it square, and added a border, otherwise, it's pretty much as shot.

I don't know what it is exactly that sends me in this image. It's just breathtaking, the delicacy of the flower, the colors, the focus. So glad it made the front page!

I love the detail of all the textures here. I need to learn this kind of control over DoF. Quite pleasing to study for a while. Top pick for this challenge.

This is really lovely. I love the diagonal. One of the few that in my opinion, truly IS high key and not high contrast.
