For those who don't think this is a portrait, it is the ultimate portrait, a capture of the soul, of the very essence of a person. My tastes are definitely evolving towards the bottom of the heap :-)

Was top three for me with a 7, which may sound niggardly but it's double my average score. Of course, that's rather a poisoned chalice: my top two finished in the last five. And my own finished in the last one. So maybe I had over-rated yours after all, Tom?

A time and dimension port obviously. Always wanted on of those. In my top four of the challenge. 10.

OMG! Fantastic image. This is like a dream, my swirling thoughts anchored by a structural element that nevertheless is tenuous. Like an apparition in the forest. Brilliant and artistic. This is so jutilda!

Love the artful approach but this, to me, isn't a portrait, which should be all about the face.

Thought it was meant to be a portrait?

As much as I love the idea of this, I think it could have been a little better with a slightly faster shutter speed. Without the challenge topic one wouldn't know that there was a person on the chair. I would have liked to see a bit more of the silhouette.
