 This week happened to be my company's User Group Meeting week, which included carriage rides for our customers. On monday night I saw a similar scene while trying to exit the parking lot, and went out Wednesday again after reading about the challenge to get the shot. Unfortunately, this was mid-day, so the light wasn't quite as good (the previous shot was at sunset), but due to rain clouds, I didn't get another chance at the sunset version.

Post Processing (Aperture):
* Reduce Boost and Hue Boost for RAW processing
* Crop
* White Balance
* Increase Exposure and Black Point
* Increase Contrast and Definition
* Decrease Saturation (with increased Vibrancy)
* Levels
* Color Monochrome with orange at 35% to bring more of a warm feel
* Edge Sharpen
* Export to 800 px
* Unsharp Mask (Pixelmator)
* Border (Pixelmator)
* Export for Web (Pixelmator)

The setting is wonderfully attractive, but the brown tone of the sky is detrimental to the scenery.

Very nice and peaceful country scene. One can almost feel the quiet and and very faintly if one listens carefully one can hear the faraway sound of voices and laughing coming from the people in the horse drawn wagon. 7
