Love the details in this - initially it almost looks like a simple silhouette - but the more you look the more there is.

| One of teh very few (actually the first I've seen so far) images that depict "country life" artistically! Glorious colors, and that lighting!! Oh my. I adore contre jour, and it has lit up the horse's whiskers, tail, and breath, and the man's sleeve, to fabulous effect. There is a real relationship here, not only between the man and horse, but between them and their surroundings, and to the dawn of day. Such warmth and depth. Thank you for this gorgeous capture. |
